As of today, we are not doing so well if we want to reach our 100 per cent membership goal.  Our post has reached that 100 per cent goal for the last 13 years.  What a shame it would be if that unlucky number 13 would end our great achievements.  Remember we are veterans fighting for veteran’s rights.  Each and every one of us should take the responsibility to see to it that the next generation of veterans is treated fairly by our government.

Just because some of us don’t need the veteran’s health care system, that is no excuse for us to not help our fellow veterans.

The best way to help our fellow veterans is to keep our membership count high so that our government knows that we all insist that they be taken care of properly.

V.A. hospitals at the present time are full of sick and handicapped veterans and will be for a long time in the future.

If you know of a veteran who qualifies for the legion, please let me know.  Present service men and women who were or still are in the service since Aug. 2, 1990 are eligible.  Other veterans who were in service during a war or conflict are eligible.
